Riyadh Air Launches Manchester Service As UK Expansion Continues

Riyadh Air has launched sales for its new Manchester route, with flights between Riyadh and Manchester scheduled to begin from 23 July 2026.

The new service will operate three times weekly using the airline’s Boeing 787-9 fleet, with flights currently scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The launch marks a further expansion of Riyadh Air’s growing UK presence as the airline continues building its international network ahead of wider global expansion plans.

Manchester becomes the airline’s second UK destination alongside London Heathrow, further strengthening direct connectivity between the UK and Saudi Arabia.

The route is expected to provide passengers with additional travel options between Northern England and Riyadh, while also offering onward connections across the Middle East, Asia and beyond through the Saudi capital.

Riyadh Air’s Boeing 787-9 fleet forms the backbone of the airline’s initial route network and features the carrier’s latest onboard product and cabin design.

The airline officially launched commercial operations earlier this year and continues rapidly expanding its destination network as part of Saudi Arabia’s wider aviation growth strategy.

The addition of Manchester also represents another significant long-haul route for the airport as carriers continue increasing connectivity between the UK and the Gulf region.

Flights are currently scheduled to commence from 23 July 2026.
