easyJet Adds Five More UK Routes for Summer 2027, Including Edinburgh–Southampton

easyJet has announced five additional routes from UK airports for summer 2027, expanding its network with new services to Spain, France and Italy, alongside a new daily domestic connection between Edinburgh and Southampton.
The announcement follows the 18 new routes the airline put on sale in September, giving passengers more options for next summer and adding further choice from regional airports.
Southampton is receiving three of the new services. Flights to Edinburgh will begin on 28 March 2027, operating daily from Monday to Sunday. The route will provide another direct option between Scotland’s capital and the south coast of England.
International services from Southampton will follow in May, with flights to Malaga starting on 1 May and operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The airline will also launch a twice-weekly service to La Rochelle in western France from 29 May, operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Elsewhere, London Gatwick will gain a new route to Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, from 1 June 2027. Flights will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, giving passengers another direct option for travelling to the Italian island.
London Luton will also welcome a new French connection, with flights to Rennes beginning on 1 July. The service will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, providing direct access to Brittany’s capital for holidays, city breaks and visits to friends and family.
The new routes will be available to book through easyJet’s website and mobile app, with advertised one-way fares starting at £32.48, including taxes. Prices vary by route and date, and seats are subject to availability.
easyJet holidays has also made a selection of summer 2027 and later packages available for the new destinations. Packages include flights and hotel accommodation, with 23kg baggage and transfers available on beach holidays. The company is offering bookings with a £60-per-person deposit, alongside its advertised flexibility benefits.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said the additional routes would provide customers with more choice and connectivity from their local airports, highlighting destinations including Malaga, Cagliari and La Rochelle, as well as the new domestic link between Scotland and southern England.
The announcement adds to easyJet’s summer 2027 programme as airlines continue to put next year’s flights on sale. For Southampton, the expansion brings new international options and a daily route to Edinburgh, while Gatwick and Luton gain additional links to popular European holiday and city-break destinations.
