easyJet Expands UK Network With 13 New Winter Routes

easyJet has unveiled 13 new winter routes from eight UK airports as part of its Winter 2026/27 programme, offering passengers a wider choice of destinations across Europe, North Africa and the Arctic region.

The expansion will see new services launched from Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, London Luton, London Southend and Newquay, with flights commencing between October 2026 and January 2027.

Newcastle Airport will see the largest increase in services, with easyJet introducing routes to Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Hurghada and Rovaniemi. The additions further strengthen the airport's European network while providing travellers with greater access to both winter sun and seasonal holiday destinations.

Liverpool will gain new connections to Reykjavik and Kittilä, opening up direct access to Iceland and Finnish Lapland. Both destinations are expected to prove popular with passengers seeking winter escapes and opportunities to experience the Northern Lights.

Meanwhile, Manchester will welcome a new service to Cairo, while Birmingham is set to receive a direct link to the Danish capital, Copenhagen.

Elsewhere in the network, easyJet will launch flights between London Southend and Edinburgh, adding another domestic connection between England and Scotland. London Luton will also gain new routes to Strasbourg and Kittilä, further expanding the airline's winter offering from the airport.

In the South West, Newquay is set to benefit from a new route to Geneva, providing an additional gateway to the Swiss Alps during the ski season.

Many of the new services will operate multiple times per week, with frequencies tailored to both leisure and city-break demand.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said:

“We are delighted to announce 13 new routes and thousands more package holidays are now available from eight airports across the UK this winter, providing customers with even more choice from their local airport, all with great value and fantastic service. ,
