easyJet Offers £66.50 Holiday Discount to Help Families Cover Baby Passport Costs

easyJet and easyJet holidays have launched a new offer giving families £66.50 off a holiday booking to help cover the cost of a baby’s first passport.

Announced on 22 October, the initiative aims to make travelling abroad with young children more affordable, with eligible customers able to use the promotional code FIRSTPASSPORT when booking an easyJet holiday.

The offer follows research commissioned by the airline and its holiday business, which found that 36% of parents surveyed considered obtaining a passport for their newborn a major hurdle when planning a holiday.

The research also found that 82% of parents viewed their baby’s first holiday as an important family milestone, while 57% described it as one of their proudest parenting moments.

The promotion is available on eligible new easyJet holidays bookings made before 26 November 2026. It applies to bookings including an infant or child travelling on their first passport, aged under two at the time of travel, with holidays to be completed by 31 October 2028.

There is no minimum holiday spend, although the offer is subject to availability and limited to one discount per booking.

The £66.50 saving is equivalent to the standard online fee for a British child’s passport application, excluding delivery. Families must still apply for and purchase the passport themselves.

The announcement comes as easyJet holidays reports a 10% increase in infants travelling this year compared with 2025. The airline also says it has carried more than 22,000 additional infants across its network in 2026.

Alongside the offer, easyJet has partnered with Peppa Pig to share advice for parents travelling with young children, including guidance on taking an acceptable baby passport photograph.

The initiative adds another incentive for families considering a package holiday, as easyJet looks to make travelling with young children more accessible.
