Virgin Atlantic expands India connectivity


Virgin Atlantic is set to add additional flights between London Heathrow & Bengaluru.  

In April 2025, Virgin Atlantic celebrated the first anniversary of its service between Heathrow & Bengaluru.

 In its first year, the route has transported over 140k passengers, reflecting the strong demand for direct connectivity between the two cities.  



Come January 2026, the airline will add x4 additional weekly flights to Bengaluru, bringing a total offering on the route to 11x weekly alongside this, British Airways & Air India who both serve this route operating 7x weekly each.

The additions will run until the end of the winter season, and will represent Virgins largest ever schedule to India with 39x weekly flights operating to Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. 

The schedule for the new flights are: 

LHR - BLR / 1400 - 0515 / VS346

BLR - LHR / 0705 - 1250 / VS347 

Operated on Tue, Wed, Fri & Sun from Bengaluru
