easyJet has announced a major expansion of its UK network for Summer 2027, with 18 new routes going on sale from airports across the country.

The expansion covers destinations across Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Germany and Cyprus, with easyJet also introducing Girona as a brand-new destination from the UK.

The airline will operate its first-ever UK services to Girona from Liverpool and London Gatwick. The Liverpool service will begin on 28 March 2027, operating twice weekly, while Gatwick flights will launch on 3 June with three weekly services.

easyJet says it will be the only airline operating between Liverpool and Girona, providing a new direct connection between the North West and Catalonia. Girona also offers access to the Costa Brava and surrounding resorts.

Six new routes for Scotland

Scotland is a major focus of the expansion, with six new routes announced from Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

Aberdeen will gain new services to Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca, while Edinburgh will see new routes to Hamburg, Tivat, Bilbao and Rome Fiumicino.

The Edinburgh–Tivat route will be a new connection for the airport, while easyJet says it will be the only airline operating Edinburgh–Hamburg.

The new Scottish routes will begin between March and May 2027, adding more options for passengers travelling from both airports during the summer season.

More new routes across the UK

The expansion also brings new destinations and additional choice to several other major UK airports.

At Birmingham, easyJet will launch flights to Milan Malpensa and Tivat, while Liverpool will also gain a new route to Murcia.

Bristol is set to receive two new routes, with flights to Burgas in Bulgaria starting on 28 May and Montpellier in France launching on 1 July.

Manchester will gain a new connection to Bastia in Corsica, beginning on 29 June and operating twice a week.

Newcastle will receive a new route to Larnaca, while London Southend will gain a new service to Rhodes and London Luton will launch flights to Thessaloniki.

Gatwick will also see further growth, with new services to Girona and Ajaccio.

For UK airports, the announcement provides another significant boost ahead of Summer 2027, with new routes spread across Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Bristol, Newcastle, Manchester, Gatwick, Luton and Southend.
