British Airways expands with two routes

British Airways is expanding its network with the launch of two new short-haul additions to its route map, including Tivat in Montenegro and Guernsey in the Channel Islands.

Tivat in Montenegro, known for its stunning  coastline, dramatic mountain landscapes, and rich cultural heritage.

Flights will operate during the summer season from the 14th May 2026 with 3 weekly flights (Tue,Thu,Sat)

According to the Statistical Office of Montenegro (MONSTAT), tourist arrivals in 2024 reached 2.6 million, with almost 15.6 million overnight stays

Guernsey in the Channel Islands is celebrated for its rich history and culture, as well as its rugged coastline.

Flights will operate year round from 29th April 2026 with 1 daily flight.

Guernsey lost its link with Heathrow when a Flybe service was suspended in 2020 prior to the collapse of the carrier.

Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, said:

“We’re pleased to be expanding our route map with the addition of two new routes for customers to explore, bringing the total number of our Heathrow short-haul network to nearly 100 destinations. “Montenegro is an ideal choice for those seeking stunning coastlines and year-round sunshine, and the addition of Guernsey is something we know our customers have been eagerly awaiting. As the only direct service between Heathrow and Guernsey, the route will offer conveniently timed connections to more than 20 European destinations, providing greater choice and flexibility for both leisure and business travellers alike.”
